Updated per information received from Dave Fox: piccolo/flute and oboe/EH books are not numbered; baritone saxophone requires low A and bass clarinet is scored to low D.
Updated per information received from Dave Fox: flute book also requires alto recorder, “but it is only about four measures and they can easily be played on flute.”
The alto recorder does play a bit more than four bars 🙂 and the part is quite soloistic and characteristic; but as it starts on a high E and goes down to a D, I play it on soprano as it lays better. (I also added the recorder to the Scarecrow motif at the end when the Wizard is giving them their medals) 🙂

Reed 1 is mostly bass clarinet with little alto sax.
Reed 3 is mostly baritone sax.
Reed 2 may be the most challenging, requiring strong skills on both flute and clarinet. The sax parts in all 3 doubling books are not difficult.
