Boosey & Hawkes lists four versions of Candide for rental. With a free account, you can view all the full scores. As far as I can tell, for the Concert Version, Royal National Theatre Version for full orchestra, and Scottish Opera version, the doublings are 4. E-flat clarinet, clarinet / 5. Clarinet, bass clarinet [to low D], and for the New York City Opera House version, the doublings are 4. E-flat clarinet, clarinet, soprano sax [optional] / 5. Clarinet, bass clarinet. This is despite the webpage saying the latter three versions don’t have bass clarinet.
The New York City Opera House version seems to have only 32 bars of (optional) soprano sax—#21B “Constantinople (Underscore)” and #22C “Constantinople Exit” are each 16 bars long, with exposed sax solos double-lined for E-flat.
In the Concert, RNT, and Scottish Opera versions, the bass clarinet has some low D-naturals in “The Kings’ Barcarolle.” Not so in the NYC Opera House version, which has a couple alternate versions of that number. Instead, the NYC version has some written D’s in the “money, money, money” intro to “What’s the Use?” except every page of that song says “Up 1 Tone” at the top. I’d have to see the parts to know more

Updated this listing, and added separate listings for Concert, RNT, and NYC versions. Thanks!
