The instrumentation for the MTI rental version is the same. Lead clarinet is in Reed 1, and the Bass Clarinet in Reed 2 is used for just 28 measures of one song and only goes down to low E (short, but important, in my opinion.) There is no double-staff cross-cueing in either book.
