Covered both books for a high school production last March, there is oboe in Reed 1 but it is optional (doubled staffed with clarinet).

Just played Reed 2 at a show in Lancaster, PA. Like the touring version, Reed 2 has Bass Clarinet to low D and C and Bari to low A but these only happen once, not a deal breaker.
