    These books have a lot of double-scoring in them. The following instruments are double-scored, and therefore optional (everything is double-scored with clarinet):
    Reed 1: Alto Flute
    Reed 2: Piccolo, Flute, Eb Clarinet
    Reed 3: Oboe, English Horn
    Reed 4: Piccolo, Flute

    For Reed 5, nothing is double-scored; the bari sax parts go down to low A, the bass clarinet parts only go to Eb.
