Just finished a run of MFL with a local community theatre using the alternate “combo” arrangement. These were the most poorly edited books I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering. The Reed 2 book had at least 15 misprints ranging from missing accidentals to wrong key signatures to a 4-bar solo with a horrible transposition.
Just finished a week run using the ‘combo’ arrangement at The Bob Hope Theatre, Eltham, UK. Agree with Mary Stratton from 16 June, 2016 regarding the Reed 2 book. No 19 “You Did It” needs amending with the piano book to get the correct notation, the four bar solo. 8 years on and the Reed 2 book has not been amended, poor!!!
