    I just saw the Broadway production – the 2 book above also calls for alto sax, but I believe no piccolo.

    I finally looked at the opening night PLAYBILL on PLAYBILL.COM and it lists the instrumentation as I submitted it on 2/26/2016. My source at that time was IBDB.COM.

    I played this production.

    Reed 2 did have Alto sax but no piccolo
    Reed 4 also had prominent Bass clarinet
