Oboe and English horn parts in Reed 3 are written out for clarinet too.
Edited to reflect this information. Thank you!
The Flute part in Reed 2 are written out for clarinet too.
There’s also only 20 measures of flute in Reed 2.
Edited to show flute as optional in Reed 2. Thanks!
Updated to reflect revised information submitted by Michael Grant. Michael indicates that all “optional” instrumentation staves have been removed.
So in the Reed 1 book, does that mean that the numbers that were double staffed for flute(or picc) and clarinet are now written only for flute (or picc)? I’m nut sure which part was “optional” in that book. Thanks in advance…
Hi Dr. Pimentel, MTI has a version of Guys and Dolls that you don’t have listed. It’s on their website entitled “Concert Version”

I played for this 4 years ago (my recollection is a bit foggy) but I believe the double reeds in reed 3 are optional.
Added as a new listing. Thanks!
Hiya,
the double reeds in these are definitely not optional, no double lining or anything. bass clarinet is only in two numbers in reed 3, with no need for low C.
