    After examining the original handwritten 1966 reed books, the break down of them are:

    Reed 1: Piccolo, Flute, Eb Clarinet (optional), Clarinet, Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone
    Reed 2: Piccolo (optional), Flute (optional), Clarinet, Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone
    Reed 3: Oboe (optional), English Horn (optional), Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone
    Reed 4: Bassoon (optional), Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Baritone Saxophone

    The soprano saxes would sometimes have lines with “or clarinet” written next to it.
