This information is accurate. Note that the Reed 2 book says that it requires tenor sax on the cover and on the first page, but there is no tenor in the book.
The bass clarinet part has quite a few low D’s in it. In our current production at Zilker Hillside Theater in Austin, I play the first page on bari instead of bass clarinet because it is supposed to be loud and it has a low D, which translates to low A on bari.
